Emergency Food Assistance Program

TCSC provides food to a growing number of families throughout the Tenino-Bucoda area.

The Food Bank hours are:

The Food Bank offers extended hours before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but is closed on all major holidays.

Our Commitment to Health:

Nutrition Policy
At Tenino Food Bank Plus,
we believe taking care of families means providing equitable access to healthy foods that enable them to thrive. To acknowledge our understanding of the role nutritious foods play in preventing and treating chronic illnesses associated with food insecurity, we strive to offer food choices that reflect our clients cultures, support individual health needs, and align with food preferences. Our Food and Nutrition policy demonstrates our commitment to the quality of the food we offer and serves as our guiding principles for food purchasing, donation preferences, and distribution of food. We will also leverage this policy to address the national food system shortages by increasing the visibility of our organization and our clients' needs in our often under-resourced rural community.

We will feed you if you are hungry!

Tenino Community Service Center will never ask for your ID or proof of residence. We will feed you if you are hungry regardless of what town, city, or county you reside in. We will feed you if you are without housing. We have cat and dog food and personal care Items.

If you are 60 and over if you are applying for a USDA CSFP Box (The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA Foods). We will need to ask for your ID or proof of residence to ensure you qualify for the additional 32 pounds of USDA supplemental food a month.
